Domain Expiration Checker

Check a domain's expiry date in the registry record, the number of days left and its status codes.

Domain Expiration Checker

Look up a domain and the results will appear here.

How it works

Where does the data come from?
The official registry RDAP service for the domain's extension (from the IANA list) is queried first; if there is no RDAP, the registry's official WHOIS server is used. Nothing is guessed; if the registry doesn't publish a field, the reason is shown. Results are cached for 30 minutes.
How to use it
Type a domain (e.g. example.com) and run the lookup; you don't need http://, www or a path. The result appears within seconds and the page URL can be shared.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to a domain after its expiry date?

For most extensions, the domain first enters a renewal and redemption period and is then deleted. The durations vary by extension and registrar.

Why is the expiry date not shown?

Some registries (e.g. .de) do not publish the expiry date in the public record. In that case Whoisera does not estimate the date; it states that it is not shared.
