Website Technology Checker
Detect the web server, CDN, CMS, framework and analytics tools a site uses from clear traces in its response headers and HTML code.
Website Technology Checker
Look up a domain and the results will appear here.
Last checked:
How it works
- Where does the data come from?
- A real HTTP request is sent to the site; the status code and response headers are read and redirects are followed for up to 10 hops. Technology detection relies only on evidence seen in the response. Results are cached for 10 minutes.
- How to use it
- Type a domain (e.g. example.com) and run the lookup; you don't need http://, www or a path. The result appears within seconds and the page URL can be shared.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is technology detection done?
A request is made to the site's homepage; headers such as Server and X-Powered-By and known traces in the HTML (e.g. /wp-content/, the generator tag) are examined.
Why are some technologies not shown?
Not every technology leaves a visible trace, and some sites hide these traces. Whoisera only shows technologies for which there is evidence; it does not guess.
