How it works
- Where does the data come from?
- Records are resolved live over DNS at lookup time (A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT, CNAME, SOA). Results are cached for 10 minutes.
- How to use it
- Type a domain (e.g. example.com) and run the lookup; you don't need http://, www or a path. The result appears within seconds and the page URL can be shared.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are TXT records used for?
TXT records carry configuration data such as the SPF email policy, Google/Microsoft site verification and similar information.
Why is the DMARC record not listed?
The DMARC record is not stored on the domain itself but on the _dmarc subdomain; this tool only shows the domain's own TXT records.
